It's D'Arcy day and Challenge #8

Hello friends and welcome to D'Arcy Day.
I wanted to share with you a little story about how one of this week's graphics came about.  Jill, our D'Arcy Blog co-ordinator, asked if I could draw a graphic of a little girl holding a flower....and if I could draw her looking like her daughter Gabriella then I would get an extra ten points!!! lol  I think Jill was kidding on...but I decided to take up the challenge and managed to find a photo of Gabriella from her holidays.........
so here's little 'Princess' Gabriella

And this is the image

As you will see later, the girls enjoyed playing with our own version of Gabriella!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sadly we only had two entries to our recent challenge...but what wonderful entries they were!!
So rather than choose one winner and one runner up we'll combine the prizes for the girls....so if you'd like to get in touch please Pinky and Chanelle via the website we'll get that sorted for you.
Our new challenge today is
Punches and dies
-use your favourite punches and/or dies on your project
our prize is our usual
Our usual rules apply and the challenge ends on Tuesday 26th June at midnight UK time.
SO...what's NEW this week
and do you want some wonderful inspiration from the girls!?!?!??!  Of course you do!!
 I have used D'Arcys Diaries_057, and I have used Sugar and Spice papers, for the backing paper and the flowers and the leafs which were all punched along with the butterflies. The window was cut on my Silhouette, and backed with a scrap bit of green card. I have coloured her in with promarkers.
